The purpose of this foundation is to financially support the following projects: 

Scientific studies in Conservative Dentistry and related disciplines as start-up financing

The supported projects MUST be international

Scientific visits (3-12 months) in European Dental Schools to do research

The support of projects or persons will be governed by guidelines approved by the General Assembly of the EFCD.

Review

The committee for the EFCD Scientific foundation is responsible for reviewing requests and formulating a recommendation to the Executive Committee of the EFCD about acceptance/rejection of funding applications and the amount of financial support. The granted support must be decided upon by the Executive Committee of the EFCD.

Duration

The Committee for the EFCD Scientific Foundation will be elected by the General Assembly of the EFCD for 4 years and will consist of representatives of full members and corporate members. 

Representation

The President of the committee is the president of the EFCD. The Committee is composed by three representatives of the board and three of sponsors of the EFCD.
